Summer has arrived. We have been starved of warmth for so long the heat (at last!) has sent everyone a bit wappy. It happens every year.
We celebrated the start of summer with the removal of our inherited from previous owners roof broken seriously ugly SHED. We put it on freecycle and someone local came and took it away in little pieces. Gotta love the freecycling!
We were left with a pile of rubbish - wood/old kitchen cupboards etc - which could mean only one thing - it was time to build a fire and watch it burn! The ashes were still hot the next morning!
Nothing says summer like a good fire! When I went to sleep the ember reds glowed through the curtains. It was very dreamy.
